Location

The centre is located near the city of Bielsko-Biała in the south of Poland.

The terrain is adjoining a National Park, consisting of forests and mountains. From the centre different mounting walks can be undertaking (guide available).

In the surroundings of Bielsko-Biała are various tourist attractions:

• The cultural capital of Poland: Cracow, 70 km.
• The salt-mines of Wielicka, 80 km. The salt-mines are since 1978 on the UNESCO World Cultural and Natural Heritage list
• Possibility of skiing in the mountains of Szczyrk ( highest mountain 1200m).
• Mountain hiking in the Beskide mountains.
• The lake of Żywiec
• At a distance of 30 km is the former German concentration lager Auschwitz-Birkenau.
